Referral InformationPhone calls regarding referrals should be handled during routine office hours. Please allow at least 1-2 weeks for processing of referrals. We will fax the referral to the specialist from our office, should your insurance company deny the authorization you will be contacted by us. If you need assistance scheduling your appointment please contact us. We can help you find a specialist and/or an outside testing facility and will work closely with them to care for your child's needs. Our physicians will help you decide when a specialist or outside testing is necessary. Depending on the situation you can discuss your needs with your physician when you are in the office. - Remember, it is your responsibility to know if a written referral or authorization is required to see a specialist, whether pre-authorization is required prior to a procedure, and what services are covered.
